Multiplayer: A Tribute to Video Games Earns for Charity
Spend money, get music, support charity!

Fans of VGM with a penchant for supporting good causes have, since July 13, one more excellent option to satiate both their urge to hear sweet tunes and to earn a hearty dose of the warmest fuzzies. Multiplayer: A Tribute to Video Games, a charity project spearheaded by Ro Panuganti and David Russell, features 26 arranged tracks drawn from all over gaming history.

Each of the 26 tracks was handled by a different musician (running through the whole alphabet we know and love so much), and features covers of such classic games as Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Dark Cloud, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and more (including several outside the realm of the RPGs we know and love). The total proceeds of the project go directly to the Child's Play charity.

You can hunt the whole album down via Loudr, and you'll be able to read our thoughts on it in our soon-to-be-published review.
