Fruitbat Factory have just released a new expansion for indie JRPG 99 Spirits on Steam. Cage of Night is a new story set during the events of the base game and features six mini-scenarios to play. It also includes commentary from the development team.
Project lead for the game's localisation, Jakke Elonen, said that the second expansion is also on its way. "The decision to bring over Cage of Night was made during our successful IndieGoGo crowdfunding project for 99 Spirits. After that TORaIKI has released a second side story for 99 Spirits - Weeping Demon’s Bell - and it will be arriving on Steam soon as well. I’m very fond of the game world, and it’s great to have a rare opportunity to bring over additional material that expands it."
