Tecmo Koei have just announced that they will be bringing Ar Tonelico prequel, Surge Concerto: Ar nosurge, to Europe under the title Ar noSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star on PlayStation 3. The game reportedly features characters form both the aforementioned RPG series, plus life sim Ciel noSurge.
The main story follows Casty and Delta, a pair who are in search of a song called Ciel N Protecta. Like Ar Tonelico, the battle system has the heroine stand in the back line and sing songs while their protectors guard them.
Ar noSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star is set for release in Europe on the 26th of September. It will retain the original Japanese voices, but also have a new English dub that can be selected if players wish. A North American release is apparently "undecided" at this point in time.
