Effectively, yes. XSEED's and Marvelous AQL's upcoming farming sim RPG Story of Seasons might not have the famous name, but it's still pretty much a Harvest Moon game. Read Derek's preview for the details (as if you don't already know what to expect).

Story of Seasons is set to release later this year on the 3DS. No more precise date is known.
