E3 2014: Monolith Soft Unveils Rebranded "Xenoblade Chronicles X"
It's delayed to 2015, but it looks better than ever.
06.10.14 - 2:32 PM

During this morning's Nintendo Direct, the anticipated Wii U RPG X was shown under its new title, Xenoblade Chronicles X. As the name might imply, the game takes place in the same world as Xenoblade Chronicles, and a brand new trailer shows characters and quasi-religious thematic material that are more than a little reminiscent of Xenosaga. The Nopon at the end of the trailer leaves no doubt that the game carries on its predecessor's legacy. (Admit it, you loved Riki.) In addition, the main character will be fully customizable, including his/her gender.

Xenoblade Chronicles X has been delayed to sometime in 2015. We're crying too. In the meantime, check out our freshly-updated gallery for some new screens of this magnificent-looking title.
