If you're a fan of Gust's Atelier series, and planning to pick up a copy of Shallie from Japan, then we have some good news for you! Gust have announced two collector's editions for the game, along with a first-print bonus available to all buyers.

For 9,800 yen (~$96 USD), you can pick up the first of the special editions. This one includes the game itself and a 20th anniversary Atelier sound set with the following CDs:

  • Gust staff-selected Atelier song collection (two discs)
  • Gust staff-selectedAtelier BGM collection (one disc)
  • Gust Atelier music ararnge (one disc)
  • Atelier Escha & Logy sequel drama CD (one disc)

If you have a little more to spare, you could pick up the 12,800 (~$126 USD) yen version instead:

This one includes everything from the collector's edition above it, along with an art book and set of film strips.

If you pick up either of those, or just the first-print release with a pre-order, then you'll get a download code for "Atelier Series Special BGM Pack," which provides you with 700 songs to change the background music in-game with.

In related news, it has also been revealed that Wilbell the witch will be returning for the final entry in the Dusk series. It's still unknown whether she will be playable or not.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea will be released on July 17th in Japan. While there is no news on a western release yet, it will surely make its way here.
