Square Enix today revealed the second-tier North American pre-order items for Drakengard 3 (Drag-on Dragoon 3 in Japan). Pre-ordering before April 8th nets you a Nier-themed costume pack including Kainé and Nier replicant costumes, and the Emil Hat Dragon item. You will also get the third tier of pre-order items, still to be announced.
Square also revealed the novella titled 'Zero,' whose first chapter is available on the official website. The novella takes place before Drakengard 3, dealing with the main character's past.
Also released today was a video interview with series producer Takamasa Shiba, who talks about creating the series, and in particular the third game after eight long years. The six-minute interview below is in Japanese, but with English subtitles.
Drakengard 3 for PlayStation 3 goes on sale on May 20th.
