RPGFan's Games of the Year 2013
Come celebrate with us!
01.02.14 - 11:41 PM

We don't lament another year gone by around here, and neither do we push it out the door like a guest who has overstayed his welcome. We do, however, celebrate the things that have come (and the things that will come), and we ask you to join us in that celebration.

We present to you our Games of the Year feature: a collection of site-wide awards, individual accolades, and the second annual Reader's Choice Award, given by you! Enjoy browsing our genre awards, debating over the Best Story, arguing about the most commonly chosen editor's picks, and viewing our brand new award: Best Non-RPG.

This year has brought us a deluge of titles from Japan, a continuing and constant stream of graphic adventures (and they seem to get better and more complex with each passing year), and the ever-increasing, about-to-burst ocean of indie games. Western RPGs were largely absent this year, but that doesn't mean there weren't enough games to choose from. Indeed, this year the voting was tough, and no winner went unchallenged.

Take a look at what 2013 brought us and check back soon for a look at what 2014 might bring.
