Release date, pricing announced for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
Two digital editions, plus one physical edition for die hard fans.

Blizzard announced today that the Diablo III expansion Reaper of Souls will be released on March 25, 2014. The regular digital edition will cost $39.99, and the digital special edition will be $59.99. The special edition includes exclusive in-game recipes to change the appearance of your helms and weapons as well as three additional hero slots (the current cap is 10 characters), a "Spectral Hound" minion for Diablo III, a Treasure Goblin companion pet for World of Warcraft, and "an assortment of Crusader-themed Battle.net portraits and Malthael-themed decals for StarCraft II."

There will also be a limited number of Collector's Edition copies of the expansion available at "select retail locations" for $79.99. It includes everything from the digital special edition as well as:
- Malthael mouse pad, bearing the impenetrable visage of the Angel of Death.
- Hardback Collector's Edition art book, chronicling the game's artistic development.
- Behind-the-scenes Blu-Ray/DVD two-disc set, featuring in-depth interviews with the development team and members of the Diablo III community.
