Lightning Returns: FFXIII Special Effects Trailer, Japanese Voice-Overs Announced

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is out this week in Japan, but you won't need to import the title to hear Japanese voice-overs. Square Enix announced this morning that fans can download the Japanese voice-overs as DLC for the English version, and this pack will change the lip-synching accordingly so the characters don't look unnatural when talking. For the first two weeks after release (February 11th in North America), this DLC will be free, after which it will become paid content.

Square also shared a new trailer focusing on the game's special effects. Not that we should have doubted graphics quality in their games anyway, but watch here:
