BioWare and LucasArts has announced some fresh content for their MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. As the title suggests, Galactic Starfighter allows players a chance at being a Starfigher pilot as well as a choice of Starfighter ships, plus customization options and upgrade options. The expansion will also add PvP play, making space battles with everyone you love and hate in SWTOR, a reality.

Also detailed were some incentives: for current subscribers as of November 1st, these players can get early access to the expansion starting on December 3rd, plus exclusive paint jobs, pilot suits and titles, and max benefits for leveling and progression.

Preferred Status players, which is anyone who's made a purchase from the game's online store OR makes a purchase between, even those not currently subscribed, will also get early access on January 14th. You can also qualify as a preferred status player by making a purchase in the store between January 14th and February 3rd, and gain early access that way. These players will get the pilot suits and an exclusive title.

As is The Old Republic, Galactic Starfighter will be free-to-play, and available to the public on February 4th.
