October 1st is a big date for 3DS JRPGs.

XSEED Games announced today that its 3DS farming/'fantasy life' RPG, Rune Factory 4 now has a firm release date of October 1st. If you've been paying attention, that's also Etrian Odyssey Untold's release date. In the latest 'fantasy Harvest Moon,' players take on the role of a newly-anointed prince or princess who can help out their subjects with quests, and/or do their own harvesting for fruits and vegetables. And, as with any other game in the series, you can court dating candidates, giving them gifts and communicating with them before you eventually marry and bear children.
And of course, there's the whole 'fighting in dungeons' - a very key RPG element - and crafting:
