Gotta have em' all! No, seriously. I really have to have them.

Continuing with the upcoming release and inevitable world domination of Pokémon X/Y for the Nintendo 3DS, it has been announced that the game's soundtrack will be hitting iTunes worldwide in November. For you collectors out there, the physical copy will be available in Japan on November 13 and will contain over three and a half hours worth of music, as well as bonus tracks and a 28-page booklet featuring development details and other behind the scenes goodies. The physical soundtrack will cost 2,625 yen ($26.93 US).

Pokémon X/Y for 3DS hits shelves worldwide on October 12, 2013, but I'm sure you already have that marked on your calenders.

Next up, we have some news fresh from the recent Pokémon Game Show. A new animated Pokémon TV special is coming that retells the Red/Green (or Red/Blue as we know it here in the West) saga and is appropriately titled Pocket Monsters: The Origin. But it isn't just a simple remake. Fans of Ash Ketchum will be sad to know that Ash won't be returning as the show's main protagonist. I guess Ash finally got fed up with being ten years old...for the past 16 years.

However, you'll see quite a few familiar faces as evidenced by the trailer here:

Pocket Monsters: The Origin will air on October 2nd on TV Tokyo at 7 pm. It's a good year to be a Pokémon fan!
