Did you ask for this?

With Nintendo's Wii U seeing a release of the enhanced Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, Square Enix didn't want gamers on other platforms to feel left out. As such, owners of Xbox 360s, PS3s, PCs, and Macs will be able to get their hands on this enhanced version of Eidos Montréal's Action-RPG.

"After our Director's Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms," said Stéphane D'Astous, General Manager of Eidos Montréal. "We're thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, 'You asked for this!'"

Now with DLC The Missing Link and the Augmented Edition's Tong's Rescue mission fully integrated, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers won't need to feel left out of the new touchscreen portions of the Wii U release, so these features have been added for use with either Microsoft SmartGlass or the Playstation Vita. Other additions also include over eight hours of commentary, enhanced combat mechanics, re-architected boss battles, and enhanced visuals.

Square Enix hasn't placed a price point on Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut for the new platforms, but it doesn't appear as if it will be available as DLC for owners of the current game. DX:HR Director's Cut will be available for all platforms later this year. Keep your eyes on the site for our impressions on both the Director's Cut and Deus Ex: The Fall at E3!
