An HD remake of the original for Xbox 360.

Microsoft has announced that Fable Anniversary will be launching later this year for Xbox 360. An HD remake of the original Fable, this new version will contain all of the content from the expansion pack The Lost Chapters. This isn't the first time that Microsoft has taken one of their original Xbox titles and re-released it with the "Anniversary" tag - Halo Anniversary launched back in November of 2011. Based on the Unreal 3 engine, Fable Anniversary will also include a slew of improvements like Achievements, new cutscenes, and a complete graphical revamp.
While no price point has been announced, it would be easy to look at the price of Halo Anniversary and guess that Fable Anniversary will launch somewhere around $40 when it hits the Xbox 360 later this year.
