Shin Megami Tensei IV Comes To North America
I am so glad this news came a day *after* April 1st.
04.02.13 - 10:26 AM

Atlus USA today opened an official website for Shin Megami Tensei IV, which coincides with the reveal that the 3DS title and sequel to SMTIII: Nocturne is coming overseas (as if anyone had a doubt). So far, the website gives us little more than some screens and a summer 2013 release window - but that's plenty enough for some fans. The pre-order links do not yet work, but the game will cost $49.99 US at retail.

Taking place in the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado, the player takes on a main character that becomes a samurai, one who guards his world against demons. Making a return are demon recruitment and fusion, the press-turn system, and choices that will affect him, NPCs and many others around them.

It's good to see that Shin Megami Tensei fans are getting their money's worth out of their 3DS. With this in the summer, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers this month, and hopefully a localization of Devil Survivor 2's 3DS remake, there will be plenty to keep your handheld busy.
