Is it wise to replay these classics?

You've probably already played Ys I and II, but here they are again, now available through Steam on Windows Vista and 7. Very similar to the relatively recent PSP remake, Chronicles+ is a history lesson in JRPG design.

I'm one of a few who are new to the series, so read my review for a fresh perspective on these classic action RPGs.
