Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that Keiji Inafune's Soul Sacrifice will launch on North American Vitas on April 30th. Alongside the release date, SCEA has also announced the box art (below) and pre-order bonuses. Those who put their money where their mouth is will receive two unique costumes (also below) as well as three items for use in battle. The pack contains the Spirits' Flamepike, a spear with a five-hit combo attack, the Spirits' Blightstone, exploding stones with a poison effect, and the Spirits' Fulgurwood, a root that tracks enemies and strikes them with thunder spells.

Additionally, and probably the largest pre-order bonus, the Japanese voice-over pack will be available for free. The pack will be available separately, but it will be at an additional cost.

Last but not least is a quote from the project lead of the game, Keiji Inafune:

"I'm excited that we are finally able to announce the release date of Soul Sacrifice. I have put all my passion and soul into the game's concept and my talented team has made an incredible effort to create the best game it could ever be. I'm confident that we've created an extremely engaging game that you will enjoy playing.

The game has become nothing like any other game with an original and deep world settings which could only be possible in a dark fantasy environment. I'm looking forward to you being able to experience the unique adventure of real heroism in Soul Sacrifice. Immerse yourself in the world of Soul Sacrifice and have fun playing it!
