Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Media Added
look at what Square has in store for Japan this week.
10.07.12 - 10:34 PM

Quite recently we shared a few details on Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, and got a look at some of the classes and key enemy characters. Today we have more media of the same (and this time not watermarked!) including some of the most recently introduced jobs' abilities.

Paladins, for example, use white magic including an attack called Shine Blade, and have high stats both offensively and defensively. They also get a brave points boost and skills like Death Parade where the sum of their attack and defensive power determines the amount of damage it does.

Dark knights, as mentioned, like to give up themselves for a bit of extra attack power. No, really. One skill, Rampage, boosts damage dealt but at the cost of HP until you only have one HP left. Pitch Black also uses some HP for a dark magic spell.

Devouts are great healers and at recovery magic, and are even able to recover brave points (one spell converts MP into BP). They can cast spells to protect the party, too. The magus are dark magic users who have the strongest magic stat and can cast spells like Bury, which uses 25% of their MP to cast a strong dark magic spell. Corpse, unsurprisingly, causes instant death.

You can find the screens and art in our gallery linked below. Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for Nintendo 3DS goes on sale this week in Japan.
