Phantasy Star Online 2 To Get New Classes... And Subclasses
Both September and October will get game updates.
09.04.12 - 12:22 AM

Since its July lunch in Japan Phantasy Star Online 2 hasn't exactly had a shortage in updates. Three of them already came in August, and it looks like sometime this month SEGA's MMORPG will see some new classes added. The trailer below shows the fighter, gunner and techer classes, among other new bits of content.

The fighter's Brave Stance skill allows head-on attacks to cause higher damage, while attacks from behind results in lower damage. Wise Stance does just the opposite. They can equip fighting sabers, twin daggers, knuckles and Gunslash.

Chain Trigger allows the gunner the possibility of getting a longer chain count. Chain Finish increases Photon art depending on the chain combo. The class can use twin machine guns, assault rifles and Gunslash.

The techers' Territory Burst skill increases the area in which their Support Technics are effective. PP Convert lets your PP recover faster, but at the cost of some max HP. Techers can use wands, talis and Gunslash.

Furthermore, an October update will allow for sub-classes, which allows you to use that sub-class' skills, Technics, etc. The update will be a larger one, called 'The Call Of Mortality,' raising the level cap to 50, adding new Photon Arts and Technics, new client orders, and new rare enemies as bosses.

Phantasy Star Online 2 for PC will be available for North America and Europe next year.
