Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD Coming to iOS This Fall
With HD graphics, free chapters and a... meme generator?
08.30.12 - 12:54 AM

It was late January that Capcom announced plans to create HD versions of the first three Phoenix Wright titles and release them on iOS. While this trilogy bundle hit Japan shortly after, Capcom USA had yet to comment on plans for the English version until earlier today.

Officially titled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD, the collection combines HD versions of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations. Capcom posted a comparison image of the original DS version and the new HD graphics, and it shows they aren't skimping on the details:

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD

PW:AATHD (yay for excessively-long abbreviations!) contains a mode titled "Everyone Object," which sounds both ridiculous and fun: Using it will generate an animated image with the phrases "Objection!", "Hold It!", or "Take that!" and can be e-mailed or tweeted.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD will be a Universal (iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) release, free to download, and require iOS 5.0 or above. Players can play the first two chapters of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney free, and purchase each of the three games individually or as a bundle. No specific pricing or release date besides "fall" has been revealed as of yet. In the meantime, check out our new gallery!
