Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Packaging... And Villains
Meet the... Blood Roses?
08.20.12 - 3:07 PM

Square Enix's next big Nintendo 3DS title, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, got its packaging reveal today. Turns out the 'Flying Fairy' part was, well, literal. At least she's wearing clothes.

Jump also revealed more villains you'll be encountering. Fiore de Rosa leads the Blood Rose Unit, which also consists of the Venus sisters: Einherjar, Mefirea, and Artemis. Einherjar, the oldest, was trained by the mother of Edea, a playable character, and the sisters listen to only her. Mefirea is the middle sister and summoner, while Artemis is the youngest. Fiore himself is a playboy who lives in the entertainment district Flowell.

In addition to the summoner, Jump also confirmed the valkyrie and announced the Hunter class. Given her name, Artemis makes the most sense as a hunter. A wireless feature, 'Abilink' (ability link) was also mentioned. This feature will apparently help you strengthen your characters... somehow. (Obviously, details were's given.)

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy goes on sale in Japan on October 11th.
