World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Set For A September 25th Release
Not so surprisingly, there will be physical and digital special editions.

Activision Blizzard announced today that the latest expansion to its ever-popular MMO World of Warcraft will release exactly two months from today. Titled Mists of Pandaria, the expansion introduces the titular new area as well as a new playable race, the pandaren.

As expected, Mists of Pandaria (PC/Mac) will have both regular and special editions at retail and digitally. The regular edition in either form is priced at $39.99 US. Digitally, you can pre-order either the standard or Digital Deluxe edition at WoW's official website. If you pre-order the standard edition there, you can upgrade your pre-order anytime to the deluxe.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, priced at $59.99 US, includes, with the game itself:

  • A flying Imperial Quilen mount
  • a Lucky Quilen Cub pet
  • Infested Orc and Night Elf Templar Starcraft II portraits for Battle.net
  • a Diablo III banner sigil and accent.

The physical Collector's Edition, priced at $79.99 US, includes all of the above in-game items, plus:
  • A 2-disc behind-the-scenes DVD and blu-ray with commentary, interviews and more
  • a 20-track soundtrack CD
  • a 208-page artbook
  • and a Chem Stormstout mousepad.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will be available as of September 25th.
