Pier Solar and the Great Architects: Review & Interview
A look at the (last?) indie Sega Genesis RPG and the folks behind it.
07.15.12 - 4:17 PM

It's commonplace for indie games to use a retro graphic and audio style. It's a little less common for them to be built as a ROM made for a specific retro platform. But it's almost entirely unheard of that such a game would be released on an actual physical cartridge, requiring a Sega Genesis to play it.

And yet, that's exactly what Pier Solar and the Great Architects is. Derek played through the game and shares his thoughts in his review. He and Soundtracks/Reviewer Stephen Meyerink also talked with Tulio Adriano Cardoso Gonçalves of WaterMelon Games about how the game came to be and much, much more. Be sure not to miss the interview.
