Two Rainbow Moon Dev Diaries
A look at equipment and crafting, and then managing your party.

You've probably heard mention of how eastasiasoft and Sidequest Studio's strategy RPG Rainbow Moon has all kinds of weapon and equipment combos - but what the heck does that mean? For starters, there are five different types of equipment: weapons, headwear, amulets and rings. Apparently, you can find 'hundreds' of each type while exploring and fighting as well as purchase them along the way, so that factors for many a combo.

You can also choose to 'craft' - that is, upgrade your existing equipment. Each piece has a certain amount of crafting slots, and you'll fill these using material you've collected from battle, treasure chests, and so on. You might come up with all sorts of results - in most cases, you can preview the product of your crafting.

The videos below cover equipment and crafting, and then party management, respectively.

Rainbow Moon goes on sale on PSN this week in Europe, and then next week in North America for $14.99 US. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, the game will be on sale for the first two weeks.
