Let's meet a few more characters.
04.30.12 - 1:29 AM

This week, Gust expanded on the battle system for its PS3 title Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of the Ground of Dusk, and introduced three new characters. As mentioned before, the game will use the 'cost turn' battle system as seen in previous Atelier titles, where the turn order of both your party members and enemies will change depending on your actions. Placement (and distance) on the field will play more of a role. Naturally, if you're farther away you'll do better with ranged attacks and spells, but you'll be vulnerable to them as well. If you can attack an enemy from behind however, it will always result in a critical.

Now for the characters. 20-year old Juris Grunden, a hunter, trains every day and hunts monsters for a living. His family believes a true hunter is recognized once he slays an ancient dragon and then dons its scales. Juris sets out to do just that, but he is also a family man, even having a sister around Ayesha's age.

Wilbell Voll ErsLied, also 20, is a witch as you probably guessed. She has strange powers, and is on a traditional witch's pilgrimage, in which she is seeking a way to fly freely.
