Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest Monsters Get Special Edition 3DS Systems
One's slimey; the other, not very fiery. 03.01.12 - 12:59 AM Over in Japan, Nintendo announced a number of special edition 3DS systems, as well as a new cobalt blue system. As it turns out, the special edition for Fire Emblem: Awakening is both. When the title releases in Japan on April 19th, you can opt for this 3DS bundle for 19,800 yen ($244.68 US). This can only be bought through Nintendo's online store, and you'll also get a 1000-yen Fire Emblem-themed Nintendo Points card thrown in for free. Have a look: Do you prefer slimes over swords? Nintendo and Square Enix have those too. On May 31st, a bundle including Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D and this 3DS system will release for 24,980 yen ($308.70... this seems oddly high but I can't find a different quote for the price in yen). The game is a remake of the original Dragon Quest Monsters GameBoy game from 1998, adding in new scenarios, monsters, and other extras, plus use of various 3DS features, of course.
