Fire Emblem: Awakening Heads To Europe; New Trailer, Media
Many reasons to be excited.
02.22.12 - 2:39 PM

This morning's Nintendo Direct broadcast brought about a slew of news and media, not the least of which was the first trailer for the Fire Emblem series' first 3DS entry. Titled Fire Emblem: Awakening, the game has two main protagonists, one which the player will create, and the other who is the prince of the kingdom of Iris. Below is the Nintendo Direct trailer, and in our gallery you'll find a new handful of screens and artwork.

As previously mentioned, this is one of the first Nintendo 3DS titles to get DLC. The first batch of content will be release-day DLC, but will be offered for free through May 31st. Fire Emblem: Awakening is currently dated for April 19th in Japan.

Finally, as per Nintendo UK's tweet earlier this morning, Fire Emblem: Awakening is also headed to Europe later this year. Nintendo America has so far made no such announcement, but certainly a European release increases our chances a little. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more details!
