Action MMORPG TERA Dated For May
Finally, an actual release date!
01.17.12 - 6:11 PM

After a few years in the making, En Masse Entertainment announced today that its action MMORPG, TERA, finally has a launch date. The PC title will release on May 1st of this year in North America, be available both online and at retail, and have a standard and a collector's edition. The latter has not yet been detailed.

TERA's real-time action combat makes the game, obviously, much more quickly paced than your average MMORPG, with you having to actively aim, block and dodge attacks rather than just relying on numbers. The title has seven races and eight classes to choose from, in a world where you and other players band together to destroy the gods who created that same world. Also introduced last year was the game's political system, where you gain power based on your skills in PvP, or just your in-game political wits.
