When Pixel and Texel's Fara released in late October, the game was intended for iPhone and iPod touch. This week, the developers released Fara HD for the iPad. Besides being optimized for the iPad's larger screen, Fara HD features a new dungeon and boss, secret areas and new abilities. This new version is being billed as the "expanded, definitive version of Fara," and the added content helps add value to what's a good - but fairly short - RPG. Right now, Fara HD is on sale for $1.99. Look for a review soon!

Zenonia 4 was one we knew was coming, but didn't know it was coming TONIGHT. Or maybe I'm out of the loop. In any case, the fourth entry in GAMEVIL's successful series follows the pricing structure of Zenonia 3, where the game is free to download and play, though special items are purchased in game via ZEN, which is acquired through your real life money. It's not an approach everyone loves, but at least it's optional.

Zenonia 4 features the series' sharpest visuals yet, by being the first Zenonia title to utilize the Retina Display on newer iPhone and iPod touch models. As usual, combat is appropriately stylish regardless of which of the four classes - Slayer, Blader, Ranger or Druid - you play as. Multiple difficulty modes and expanded PVP are here, along with over 40 Game Center achievements and more.
