Record Of Agarest War 2 Heads To North America, Europe
Get your PlayStation Move ready.
12.09.11 - 11:45 AM

Record of Agarest War first made its way overseas a couple of years ago thanks to Aksys Games in North America, and Ghostlight Games in Europe (as Agarest Generations of War). Earlier this year its prequel Record of Agarest War Zero followed suit, and now the sequel is headed over as well. Aksys announced Record of Agarest War 2 for localization this morning for both territories.

The game begins on the Day of Light, when a beautiful but destructive light covers the earth. The continent where it originated from has gone quiet, and the world became populated with demons. Afterwards, Weiss, who has lost all his memory, meets Eva, one who calls herself an agent of the Divine. She claims that Weiss has committed deicide, and to make up for it he must become the 'vessel' where the power of the deity he had slain could reside, and he could bring them back to life.

Record of Agarest War 2, which is PlayStation Move compatible, takes place in a new world, boasts an upgraded battle system, HD graphics, and some new mini-games (which will involve the Move...).

The PS3 RPG will be available in the summer of 2012 in North America, while Ghostlight will bring it over to Europe around the same time.
