An RPGFan's Guide To Black Friday: 2011 Edition
Don't worry, you won't have to brave crowds for all of the sales.
11.24.11 - 3:10 AM

We all like sales. Not all of us like crowds however. And while there are a few Black Friday guides out there, we figured a more condensed list might be helpful for the RPG fans. With some of the sales starting tomorrow (Thursday), you still have plenty of time to decide what to get and where to go - or so we hope. Below is a list of stores and titles with their sale prices. The regular price is in parentheses:

Bet on the retail giant (and other online outlets) having sales on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday, lightning deals especially. Unlike brick and mortar stores they won't formally announce deals ahead of time, but from what we hear, you can expect Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dark Souls to go on sale, among others. Keep your eyes peeled to Facebook or Twitter for our finds!

All stores are the US chains, except EB Games/GameStop Canada (obviously). Flyers for other Canadian chains are harder to find this early, and Black Friday is still a foreign concept up here, but I'll add anything relevant and noteworthy.

Since this list is limited to RPGs and games that fall under our coverage, there are plenty more deals on other games, hardware and accessories. (One of my favorites is $199.99 for a 250 GB Xbox 360 bundled with Fable III and Halo: Reach at Best Buy US.) Also keep in mind that some of these deals are available online as of sometime Thursday, or midnight Friday morning - and others are in-store only. Good luck - especially if you're going to an actual store!
