Final Fantasy XIII-2's NY Comic Con Trailer Is 7+ Minutes Long
So you better enjoy it.

Square Enix's most recent trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is also its longest at over 7 minutes long. A few of the scenes might look familiar, but there's a bunch of new stuff in here too. Lots of story bits, especially, including Serah and Lightning together.

And the most recent English screens below:

With the game's Summon Raid system, you'll know you've captured a foe when they turn into crystal when you've defeated them. A different percentage of them will do so, depending on the monster. Summon raid lets you bring up to three captured monsters at a time, each who has their predetermined role. As you shift your paradigm, monsters will also swap in and out accordingly.

Over in Japan, Square Enix has already confirmed that there'll be one or two pieces of DLC per month. Though some will be items and weapons, in some instances you may have to wait until a monster drops them rather than just having them show up in your inventory. Other than the DLC already mentioned, we're not sure what is exactly in the works for either Japan or overseas, but it sounds like there is lots of content planned. Stay tuned.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3, Xbox 360) releases in North America at the end of January.
