Just like last year, NIS America held its own press event during this week's Tokyo Game Show. While last year was the big reveal of Disgaea 4, this time, four titles were announced for the West. The three of interest to RPG fans are Disgaea 3 Return, Neptune Mk-2, and Disgaea for Android.

Disgaea 3's Vita port will actually be known as Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. While this is a Vita launch title in Japan, it's set for a spring 2012 release in both North America and Europe. Originally for the PS3, the Vita version adds four new scenarios, new characters and new music.

The Idea Factory-developed Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk-2 for the PS3 also contains new characters - Nepgear, Neptune's little sister, sets out to free her from Arfoire and the 'evils she's created.' The sequel boasts a new item creation system, a free-roaming battle system, faster-executed combos in battle, and a system that lets you take on a number of missions. The title is also set for release next spring in North America and Europe.

Lastly, Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound is a title for Android devices. It's not a port of any Disgaea title, but rather one that's based on the main series' item world and maintains the familiar gameplay. Though the title is free, you'll be able to purchase characters, items and more. Netherworld Unbound will be made available this fall in North America and Europe.
