Final Fantasy XIII-2's TGS PS3 Trailer
Hope and Snow make a return.

Not only did Final Fantasy XIII-2 get one trailer at TGS... it got two! As reported by Famitsu.com, there is one trailer each for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The PS3 trailer features the Mai Fukai theme song Yakusoku no Basho. The 360 version features the Cherise theme song New World.

Luckily, there were more interest differences between the trailers than just the music. Both had similar looking battle scenes, but Square Enix included various scenes. Most notably, they show a first look at both Hope and Snow. You can see them in the PS3 trailer below.

The new, young female character with blonde hair that you see is named Yuru. The mysterious man from the game's logo is revealed as "Kaias," someone who cannot die.

The videos show Yuru and Kaias travelling together. However, it also shows Yuru meeting up with Serah. Famitsu reported on a few time-related elements in the game's event scenes. They picked up on phrases such as "Paradox" and "Time Contradiction." As we know, the game will have an in-game time travel mechanic known as the Historia Crux.

Other scenes showed civilians turning into Cie'th and in the end, Lightning says something like "this is a future that I was not able to protect." The 360 trailer ends with Kaias doing something to a fallen Noel. Unfortunately Famitsu didn't have specifics.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases in North America at the end of January 2012.
