More to come during the Tokyo Game Show.
09.13.11 - 6:49 PM

After some brief teaser trailers and mysterious details, informative information has finally been revealed for upcoming tri-Ace/Konami 3DS RPG Beyond the Labyrinth. The main character appears to reflect you as the player, and your goal is to reach the exit on the top floor of labyrinth. The white-haired girl previously shown in screenshots accompanies you on our journey. The game has been classified as a "3D Dungeon RPG" - as you explore, the lower screen draws out a map for you.

Enemies will be found throughout the labyrinth and, when you run into one, the game will switch to battle mode. No real details have been released about battle mechanics yet, but it seems you can have four members in your party. No news yet on who these party members are or their relevance to the story.

Despite a two page article in Famitsu, Beyond the Labyrinth is still quite the enigma. There will be a playable demo on display at Tokyo Game Show, so much more is sure to be known soon. For now, check out the six latest screens in our gallery below!
