After years of anticipation and one somewhat disappointing sequel, the Deus Ex series has been revived with today's launch of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Fans of the series will be happy to know that the "go about things your own way" style of gameplay that the franchise is known for was a main focus as Eidos Montreal developed this latest iteration. We've got tons of coverage of the game, to be found in my write-up of the review event in Montreal, our interviews with the developers, and episode 29 of our podcast.

The game runs for the usual $59.99 USD on consoles and $49.99 USD on PC, available in both physical and digital formats. The augmented editions include a 40-page artbook, bonus DVD, special packaging, motion graphic novel, and-- for Steam orders, the full soundtrack release and a copy of the original Deus Ex. Throw an extra $10.00 USD on top of your standard edition purchase to score the augmented edition bonuses. In addition to the two versions of the game, all preorders from Gamestop come with a pack of in-game items and an additional mission.

We're also pleased to bring you launch-day reviews of both the PS3 and PC versions of the game, courtesy of yours truly and my fellow editor Robert Steinman. What did we think? Check out the reviews to find out!
