A Few Final Fantasy Type-0 Video Clips
All featuring.. gameplay!
07.15.11 - 4:08 PM

Earlier this week Square Enix promised gameplay clips of its upcoming PSP RPG, Final Fantasy Type-0. And so they did. They are four short clips, but a good look at the game nonetheless.

Currently, Type-0 is in the fine-tuning and debugging stage, nearly three and a half years since the game was announced for PSP. If you're in Japan, you can get some hands-on time with the game's first-ever playable demo at the Odaiba demo event tomorrow. In a low-difficulty setting fans will get to see the base of operations, have access to seven different characters, and experience the multiplayer - but not real multiplayer. Instead of the real deal, the will just fight in a multiplayer simulation with in-game schoolmates instead.

These are the battle basics.

This video shows kill site and break site, timed attacks that can be dealt for extra damage. You'll know you have the chance to deliver these attacks when the target cursor changes colour.

Here is a look at the active world map.

Special orders are kind of like in-battle achievements, such as killing two enemies with magic.

Final Fantasy Type-0 releases sometime this fall in Japan.
