Dark Souls Screens Added
Allow us to make the wait until October more difficult.

It's hard to believe that From Software's Dark Souls is less than three months away from release. If you're like me and never actually got around to playing Demon's Souls, you needn't worry - the former is just a spiritual successor, and has its own story and world. Still, from what we saw at E3 the game was fun, punishing, and showed a lot of promise in its gameplay.

In this latest batch of 15 screenshots you'll find more enemies - including what looks like a beaten-up Zeus - plus environments and what some of the character classes look like. At E3 I played as a black knight and invaded other players' worlds - then got my butt kicked. (Next time I'll practice first.) The demo had six classes available, with the possibility of more in the final version.

In any case, the gallery is linked below. Dark Souls (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) is due out in North America on October 4th. Don't forget that pre-ordering the game nets you the Collector's Edition instead for the same price ($59.99 US).
