Carpe Fulgur Announces Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone
Project Three is upon us! Recettear fans, rejoice! Also, Chantelise due out this month.
07.03.11 - 11:21 PM

Today at Anime Expo, indie publisher Carpe Fulgur announced their third translation project, Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone. Developed by Lizsoft, the game is a side-scrolling action RPG in the vein of the original Ys III. Players take control of three different characters: Arche the swordswoman, Sana the water mage, and Stella the fire mage. Each girl has her own unique abilities, and players can switch between them on the fly. The game sports bright, anime-inspired visuals, featuring charming 2D sprites mixed with dazzling particle effects for special attacks. Dungeons are huge and will require the player to make use of all three characters to solve puzzles. Below is the game's Japanese trailer for your viewing pleasure:

Pricing and a release date for Fortune Summoners has not yet been announced. In the meantime, you'll finally be able to check out Chantelise, which Andrew Dice confirmed would be out before the end of this month. We'll have more on both games soon, so be sure to check back!
