Marvelous Entertainment announced via this week's Famitsu that Rune Factory 4 is indeed in the works - and it's a Nintendo 3DS title. Being developed once again by Neverland Company, Rune Factory 4 will allow you to choose between a male (Lest) and female (Frey) main character. Also promised are even more interesting love scenarios - complete with lots of 'heartwarming situations' and awkward (read: embarrassing) moments.
Rune Factory 4 will release in Japan sometime this year.
Europe, meanwhile, is apparently getting Rune Factory 3 according to the PEGI software ratings board. Amazon UK lists the game for September 30th.
