Hyperdimesnion Neptunia Mk-2 Healing System Makes Sense
Who'da thunk? Oh, and here's some new screens.

Among the many things that were, frankly, not very good about PlayStation 3 game Hyperdimesnion Neptunia, one of the worst was the healing system. Healing in battle, unless you maxed out the right skills, was pretty much all about luck. Even if you did boost the right skills, you needed a ton of different components for a single heal. It really wasn't well thought out.

Luckily, in Hyperdimesnion Neptunia Mk-2 Idea Factory seem to have gotten their act together! Well, in this department anyway. In Dengeki PlayStation, the main character is shown to have regular healing abilities! Yay! The rest of the combat system is fairly similar, featuring various combos and the ability for some characters to transform. Another change is the new SP meter. As you dish out and take damage the meter will build up and eventually allow you to transform. There will be eight characters in each battle this time around too.

Hyperdimesnion Neptunia Mk-2 is currently planned for an August 18th release in Japan. It has not yet been officially been announced for North America, but we wouldn't be surprised at an eventual localization. But for now, why not check out our latest batch of screens in the gallery below?
