Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection Now Available
Can any FFIV collection really be called "complete?"
04.19.11 - 6:16 PM

The latest reissue of the Squaresoft classic, Final Fantasy IV, is now available for purchase on the PSP on both UMD and the PlayStation Network. While this version does not retain the gameplay enhancements made in the Nintendo DS version of the game, it does offer a considerable amount of content for the purchase price. The package contains the original title, upgraded with the DS version's CG cutscenes and new, high resolution sprites, as well as The After Years, a formerly Virtual Console-exclusive episodic follow-up, and a new interlude chapter that fills in the gap between the two games. While Cecil's tale has certainly been around the block a few times, it's hard to argue with the $29.99 USD price tag for one of the most beloved RPGs of all time, its sequel, and a brand-new scenario all in one.
