White Knight Chronicles II Announced For Western Release
It's official, finally.
04.07.11 - 2:02 PM

It's been about a year since White Knight Chronicles' North American release, but the sequel, released several months ago Japan, is now headed out West sometime this summer. Level-5's PlayStation 3 follow-up, White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness is coming over courtesy of D3Publisher simply as the title White Knight Chronicles II.

Just like in Japan, the game will come packaged with the first White Knight Chronicles. The fantasy turn-based RPG lets players create their own knight (Incorruptus), choose between over 400 pieces of weapons and armor, to use in its online multiplayer components, including a co-op mode and lots of quests. In the story mode, players control Leonard in the magic kingdom of Balandor.

White Knight Chronicles II will be released sometime this summer. To get a look at the game, check out the gallery below - although these are mostly Japanese screens at the moment, we have added six new English ones at the end.
