NIS' Classic Dungeon X2 Has Falcom In It
With a bevy of crossovers, NIS seems to want to compete with SEGA for the crown.

While we're not quite at the level SEGA is with its insane amount of crossovers in Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity, NIS wants to get in on the crossover action, and has announced a few of these for its upcoming PSP retro dungeon crawler, Classic Dungeon X2 (Classic Dungeon released here as ClaDun: This is an RPG).

While crossovers with Xbox 360 fighter Phantom Breaker and manga series P.S. Suri-san are interesting - if not random - what should entice RPG fans the most is the news of the company's collaboration with Nihon Falcom. While there's no real specifics yet, this means Classic Dungeon X2 will have some form of content from Falcom's The Legend of the Heroes: Zero no Kiseki, the North America-bound The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and of course its iconic Ys series.

It's no Colonel Sanders or pizza-based weaponry, but I have a feeling more than a few of you are okay with some Ys instead.

Classic Dungeon X2 hits Japan on March 24th. NIS America has not yet announced plans for a North American release quite yet.
