You hear that? It's the cheers of countless Zelda fans. Ever since Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D was announced, maybe have been asking if Ocarina of Time: Master Quest would be included in the new version, and it seems Nintendo has heard your cries. A Nintendo representative confirmed at GDC last week (via an interview with Conservative New Media) that the 3DS-based port would contain both the original N64 classic and its different/harder counterpart.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, this is the short of it: When The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was re-released on a GameCube disc, the game came bundled with another version of the game. While not a drastic overhaul, Ocarina of Time: Master Quest was essentially a slightly more difficult version of the game with remixed dungeons, providing new challenges and incentives for players to trek through Hyrule again.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D was already seeing improvements over its original N64 release, with upgraded graphics - the new in-game model for Link is particularly a vast improvement - a more user-friendly touch-based menu and interface, and oh yeah, 3D visuals. Adding essentially a second quest just makes the package even more enticing.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D doesn't have a specific release date, but is expected in June. We'll most certainly have a solid release date by E3, which takes place in early June.
