Nippon Ichi Launches Classic Dungeon X2 Demo & Contest In Japan
Put your pixel-editing skills to the test to have your character immortalized by the game's lead artist!
02.24.11 - 4:54 PM

To commemorate yesterday's release of Disgaea 4 in Japan, Nippon Ichi is offering a demo of Classic Dungeon's (known as ClaDun in North America) sequel, on the Japanese Playstation Network. The demo includes ten dungeons and a character edit feature, the latter of which is being used in a contest. The person who creates the winning sprite using this tool will have their character drawn by Classic Dungeon X2's character designer, Mota, in addition to winning a copy of the full game.

For the less creatively inclined, Nippon Ichi is offering a download pack to replicate Disgaea 4 heroine Fuka, a baseball bat-wielding girl dressed in Prinny-themed attire. All data will be usable in both the demo and the retail release of Classic Dungeon X2.

Classic Dungeon X2 will release in Japan on March 24th. No plans for a North American release have been made as of this writing.
