Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity's Last Two Tie-Ups
Ever wanted video comments all over your game screen? No? Me neither.
02.21.11 - 11:37 PM

Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity is out this week in Japan, but SEGA has a couple more collaborations up their sleeve yet. The latest of these are weapons and costumes based on the Fate/stay night characters, Gilgamesh and Rin Tosaka. Phantasy Star Portable 2 did have a similar tie-up with Saber and Archer.

Nico Nico Douga (Nico Nico Video), a video-sharing site similar to YouTube, is the other collaboration, which will result in a Danmaku weapon. Danmaku means 'bullet hell' (not to be confused with the first-person shooter BulletStorm), and is a reference to comments flooding the video screen. The Nico Nico Danmaku Shooter weapon will - you guessed it - spew danmaku (comments) all over the screen. This wacky-looking megaphone-style gun is only available via a drawing exclusive to Nico Nico's paid premium members. Winners will be able to redeem their codes for the weapon starting March 5th.

Phantasy Star Portable 2: Infinity will be available this Thursday in Japan.
