A Romacing SaGa 4 is Likely

Square Enix Producer Akitoshi Kawazu finally answers the question many SaGa fans have been dying to know: will we see ever a Romancing SaGa 4? In a commentary piece for 4gamer, he said, "There are many fans who want a Romancing SaGa 4, so I believe that it is my duty to make it before I die."

He's 48 years old, so the big question is when? Unfortunately, he didn't give an exact time frame, but hey, he's got quite a few years still ahead of him, so fans could still be waiting quite some time. In the meantime, a remake of SaGa 3 is scheduled for release on the DS next year, so hopefully that can tie fans over for now. Romancing SaGa hasn't seen a new iteration since 1995.
