12.07.10 - 3:46 AM

Fans of Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft likely have no need of this information, but the MMORPG's latest (and most cataclysmic) expansion pack is now available for purchase. Running $39.99 US (or $79.99 if you manage to get your hands on the limited edition), the expansion will offer two new races, Goblins and Worgen, a level cap of 85, and the promise of a total upheaval in nearly every zone. Flying mounts will now be flyable everywhere in the world, and of course there will be new zones, quests, loot, and high-level dungeons to sink your precious hours into. Not to mention a really cranky Deathwing. Notably, the game will also be the second (after StarCraft II) to make use of the newly revamped Battle.net and its numerous features. If you've quit WoW in the past, perhaps today would be a good day to jump back in and check out the changes! For the rest of you, you're probably already playing, so enjoy the Cataclysm expansion!
